Community Service Block Grant (CSBG)

What is CSBG?

CSBG provides a range of services to promote economic security and stability. It may assist with utilities, rent or mortgage, and medication payments. To qualify for the program, clients must bring proof of income, picture identification, Social Security cards for all household members, and proof of residency. Assistance is contingent upon the availability of funds.

Eligibility for CSBG is calculated at 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines through December 31, 2025 but may revert back to 125% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines if Federal Government & TDHCA mandates it.
